The story behind this design

According to legend, Fenrir was a giant wolf, born to the god Loki and the giantess Angrboða. As a result of his monstrous size and ferocity, the gods of Asgard were terrified of Fenrir and took measures to try to control him. 

One such attempt involved the god Odin, who sought to bind Fenrir with magical chains. Fenrir was so strong, however, that he was able to break free from every chain that was placed upon him.

For the Vikings, Fenrir represented the wild and uncontrollable forces of nature and the power of the unknown. He was a symbol of the fearsome power that lay outside the bounds of human understanding, and his legend helped to reinforce the importance of courage, strength, and cunning in the face of adversity.
